My interest in photography started when I was in grade school, and continued to grow through college. I was lucky to have an uncle with a darkroom living nearby, and a college friend who also had his own darkroom.
Although I concentrate on nature and scenic photography, my style is eclectic. I have traveled extensively, which has enabled me to add many unique images to my collection.
I believe it is both the photographer's challenge and responsibility to create an experience for the viewer, and not just an image on paper. I want the viewer to see what I saw, and feel what I felt, when I looked at the scene or subject I photographed.
